For family tree enthusiasts, trove.scot is a game-changer.  It brings together collections from various websites like the Historic Environment Portal, Canmore, and SCRAN into one handy place.  No more struggling to find what you need!

Explore over 5,000 years of Scottish history, from ancient sites to more recent heritage, all from home.  Search by placename or keyword to uncover details about historic sites and archival records – clues to your family's story.  The platform is easy to use, with filters and map searches to help you refine your results.

Trove.scot is in beta, and HES welcomes feedback.  This initiative aims to make Scotland's heritage more accessible to everyone.
